Building on award winning Marco Polo Bakery’s legacy…
The Heritage Bakery was formally known as Marco Polo Bakery, winning numerous Great Taste awards. Gifted baker Peter Towpik set up the Marco Polo Bakery as he recognised the need for high quality locally produced bread, which was not available in the Wantage area.
Over a decade later, his legacy continues under the stewardship of The Heritage Bakery, with the same team of bakers providing premium artisan breads - upholding Peter’s superior craftmanship. Following in Peter’s footsteps, our talented bakery manager Adam Kucinski continues to innovate and is always looking to introduce new products. Making good sourdough requires years of experience, adjusting recipes and experimentation. Our team of bakers have the expertise and insight to consistently deliver every time.
